What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to pay a $500 Franchise Conference Fee to cover a portion of the direct costs associated with the Annual Franchise Conference. This fee is due upon demand, specifically 30 days before the date of the Annual Franchise Conference.

This means that a Dog Haus franchisee must budget for this $500 fee and ensure payment is made by the specified deadline, regardless of whether they plan to attend the conference. Failing to pay on time could result in penalties or other repercussions as outlined in the Franchise Agreement.

Franchise conferences are common in the industry, and fees to cover costs are also typical. The 30-day advance notice provides franchisees with a defined timeframe to prepare for the expense. Franchisees should confirm the exact date of the Annual Franchise Conference each year to ensure timely payment of the fee.
