- 16.7 Interim Management. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, under Section 16.7 regarding Interim Management, Dog Haus may assume interim management of a franchised restaurant if the franchisee is in default. This is to protect the Dog Haus system, trademarks, trade secrets, and associated goodwill.
If Dog Haus elects to assume interim management, the franchisee remains responsible for their obligations under the franchise agreement. Dog Haus will not be liable for any debts, losses, costs, or expenses incurred during this period.
The Interim Management Fee that Dog Haus charges is currently $500 per day, in addition to the actual out-of-pocket costs Dog Haus incurs for the management services. The franchisee also agrees to indemnify Dog Haus against any claims or losses related to the interim management, unless those claims or losses arise solely from the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Dog Haus.
