Area Developer shall divulge such Dog Haus Confidential Information only to its supervisorial or managerial personnel who must have access to it in order to perform their employment responsibilities.
- 8.5 Confidentiality Covenants from Individuals Associated with Area Developer.
Area Developer shall require any supervisorial or managerial personnel who may have access to any Dog Haus Confidential Information of Franchisor to execute covenants that they will maintain the confidentiality of the Dog Haus Confidential Information they receive in connection with their association with Area Developer.
Such covenants shall be in a form satisfactory to Franchisor, including, without limitation, specific identification of Franchisor as a third-party beneficiary of such covenants with the independent right to enforce them.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, an Area Developer can only share Dog Haus Confidential Information with specific individuals within their organization. The Area Developer is permitted to divulge confidential information only to their supervisorial or managerial personnel who require access to it in order to perform their job responsibilities.
Dog Haus also requires the Area Developer to ensure that any supervisorial or managerial personnel who have access to the franchisor's confidential information sign agreements to maintain its confidentiality. These agreements must be in a format that Dog Haus finds satisfactory, explicitly identifying Dog Haus as a third-party beneficiary with the right to enforce the agreement independently.
This policy is designed to protect Dog Haus's trade secrets and confidential information, ensuring it is not disseminated beyond a need-to-know basis within the Area Developer's organization. Failure to comply with these confidentiality requirements can result in legal action and penalties for the Area Developer.
