What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dog Haus's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dog Haus and its affiliates are permitted to be Dog Haus Approved Suppliers. This means that Dog Haus can supply Dog Haus Branded Products, Dog Haus Proprietary Products, Sub-Branded Products, and Non-Proprietary Products and Services to its franchisees. However, Dog Haus is not obligated to become a Dog Haus Approved Supplier.
This arrangement allows Dog Haus to control the supply chain and ensure quality and consistency across all franchise locations. It also creates a potential revenue stream for Dog Haus through the sale of products and services to franchisees. However, franchisees are required to purchase specific items from Dog Haus Approved Suppliers.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that while you may have to purchase certain items from Dog Haus or its affiliates, Dog Haus is not required to be a supplier. This provides Dog Haus with flexibility in its supply chain management. It is important for a prospective franchisee to understand which products and services must be purchased from Dog Haus Approved Suppliers and to evaluate the costs and benefits of this arrangement.
