What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Devon Creek's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the royalty fee structure is based on the number of months since the franchise began operations. During the first 12 months (months 0-12), a Devon Creek franchisee will pay a royalty fee of 4% of the Gross Revenue generated weekly by their franchise.
After the initial 12 months, the royalty fee changes. From months 13-24, the royalty fee increases to 5% of weekly Gross Revenue. After month 25, the royalty fee further increases to 6% of the weekly Gross Revenue.
In addition to the percentage-based royalty fee, Devon Creek also requires a minimum annual royalty payment. For the first 12 months, the minimum annual royalty is $6,000. This means that even if 4% of the franchisee's weekly gross revenue does not amount to $6,000 annually, the franchisee is still obligated to pay at least that amount. This minimum increases in subsequent years.
