What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Devon Creek's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the provision of additional on-site training and assistance within the territory is not guaranteed. While Devon Creek may provide additional trained representatives for phone or screen-share remedial training and assistance to the franchisee's personnel upon request or as deemed appropriate, this is subject to the availability of personnel.

For any additional on-site training and assistance within the territory, the franchisee is responsible for paying a per diem fee, which is the standard rate charged to franchisees within the Devon Creek system for the services of these trained representatives. In addition to the per diem fee, the franchisee must also cover the costs of travel, lodging, and meals for the representatives providing the on-site training.

Furthermore, Devon Creek will furnish consultation and assistance to the franchisee, either in person or via methods like telephone, video conference, or electronic mail, concerning the operation of the franchised business. This includes advice on employee training, marketing, operational issues, bookkeeping, and system improvements. This service is provided at no charge unless the assistance is provided in the franchisee's territory under the conditions mentioned in section 7.4, where per diem and expenses apply.
