We will determine, in our sole discretion, whether you satisfactorily complete the initial training (Franchise Agreement, Section 7.1).

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Devon Creek's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Devon Creek does provide training at the franchisee's location after business operations commence. This on-site training will be a minimum of 40 hours. Devon Creek will determine if the franchisee satisfactorily completes the initial training.
In addition to the initial on-site training, Devon Creek may also offer mandatory additional training programs. If required, franchisees must attend these programs, as well as an annual business meeting or franchisee conference, for up to 10 days each year at a location designated by Devon Creek. Failure to attend these mandatory events constitutes a default of the Franchise Agreement.
Franchisees are responsible for covering their own transportation, lodging, meals, and other expenses associated with attending any mandatory training programs or conferences. If a franchisee fails to attend a mandatory training program, they are required to obtain the training at a location designated by Devon Creek, bearing the full cost, including tuition at the then-current rate, plus all travel costs for both the franchisee and the Devon Creek trainer.
