- e. provide training at your onsite location upon the franchisee's commencement of business operations. The training will be provided a minimum of forty (40) hours. We will determine, in our sole discretion, whether you satisfactorily complete the initial training (Franchise Agreement, Section 7.1).

2. Time to Open
We estimate the typical length of time between the signing of the Franchise Agreement and the time you open your Franchised Business is thirty (30) days. You must commence operations within ninety (90) days of executing the franchise agreement.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Devon Creek Franchise Disclosure Document, Devon Creek does provide on-site training upon the franchisee's commencement of business operations. The on-site training will be provided for a minimum of forty (40) hours. Devon Creek retains the sole discretion to determine if the franchisee satisfactorily completes the initial training.
In addition to on-site training, Devon Creek also provides pre-opening training of four (4) weeks for the franchisee and up to one additional person. The cost of instructors and training materials is included in the initial franchise fee for up to two (2) days of on-site training.
The franchisee is responsible for all travel and personal expenses, including transportation and most meals, for themselves and their personnel. Devon Creek charges a fee of $400 per person per day per trainer for initial training to any additional or replacement trainees.
