- 8.1.2 Franchisee shall select a site location within Franchisee's territory that provides secure vehicle and equipment storage, which may be a home-based office for the first eighteen months of operation. Franchisee's vehicle(s) must meet the minimum specifications outlined in the Operations Manual.

According to the 2024 Devon Creek Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can operate out of a home-based office for the first eighteen months of operation. After this initial period, the franchisee may need to secure a commercial office location.
If a Devon Creek franchisee chooses to operate out of a commercial office, Devon Creek will review the lease for required terms. However, Devon Creek does not guarantee the success of any location. The franchisee must also ensure that the selected site location within their territory provides secure vehicle and equipment storage, regardless of whether it is a home-based or commercial office.
This initial allowance for a home-based office can reduce initial overhead costs for the franchisee.
