What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Devon Creek's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must comply with new or changed policies, standards, or directives that the franchisor implements. The Devon Creek franchise agreement states that the franchisor may revise the contents of its manual and other materials used to operate the franchised business from time to time.
This means that Devon Creek franchisees are obligated to stay updated with any modifications to the operating procedures, standards, or policies communicated by the franchisor. These changes are typically outlined in the Devon Creek manual, written directives, or other approved materials.
For a prospective Devon Creek franchisee, this requirement underscores the importance of continuous learning and adaptation. Franchisees must be prepared to adjust their business practices to align with the franchisor's evolving standards. Failure to comply with these changes could potentially lead to a breach of the franchise agreement.
