What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Devon Creek Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee who wishes to purchase, lease, or use equipment, products, or services that have not been approved, or to obtain these items from suppliers who are not approved by Devon Creek, must first seek written approval from Devon Creek before using the unapproved item or supplier.

This requirement ensures that all equipment, products, and services used by Devon Creek franchisees meet the franchisor's standards and maintain the quality and consistency of the brand. It allows Devon Creek to control the quality of the services provided and protect its brand reputation.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that they cannot independently choose equipment or suppliers without prior authorization. Failure to comply with this requirement could result in a breach of the franchise agreement and potential penalties. Therefore, it is crucial for franchisees to follow the approval process outlined by Devon Creek for all equipment, products, and services used in their business.
