What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Devon Creek Franchise Disclosure Document, Devon Creek determines, in its sole discretion, whether a franchisee has satisfactorily completed the initial training program. Franchisees must successfully complete the Initial Management Training Program before commencing operations. If Devon Creek determines that the training program is not completed to their satisfaction, Devon Creek reserves the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement.
Devon Creek provides pre-opening training of four weeks for the franchisee and one additional person. Devon Creek also provides training at the franchisee's onsite location upon commencement of business operations for a minimum of forty hours.
This means that a prospective Devon Creek franchisee must meet Devon Creek's standards during training to be allowed to open their franchise. Failure to meet these standards could result in the termination of the franchise agreement, representing a significant risk for the franchisee.
