What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the general manager must complete the Desi District Franchise Group's training program. Specifically, the franchisee's Principal Executive and one additional chef or general manager must complete the training program for new franchisees to Desi District Franchise Group's satisfaction at least four weeks before opening the Business.

Furthermore, the business must at all times be under the on-site supervision of the Principal Executive or a general manager who has completed Desi District's training program. This highlights the importance of having a trained manager present at the business location.

Desi District may also, at any time, require that the Principal Executive and/or any other employees complete additional training programs, in any format and in any location determined by Desi District. The franchisee may be charged a reasonable fee for these training programs, and is responsible for all travel, living, and other expenses if the training program requires travel.
