What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to make sales only to retail customers and exclusively at the physical location of the franchise. Unless Desi District approves or requires otherwise, franchisees are prohibited from making sales through other channels such as wholesale, delivery, mail order, over the internet, or at temporary or satellite locations.

This restriction ensures that Desi District maintains control over its brand and customer experience. By limiting sales to the physical location, Desi District can better manage quality control and ensure a consistent environment for customers. This also protects other franchisees from potential competition within the same brand.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that their primary focus will be on managing and optimizing the customer experience within their designated location. They will need to drive traffic to the store and provide high-quality service to customers who visit. While the restriction limits sales channels, it also simplifies the business model and allows franchisees to concentrate on in-store operations and customer satisfaction.
