What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs of travel, lodging, meals, and any other out-of-pocket expenses incurred during the pre-opening training program. Desi District offers its standard pre-opening training to the Principal Executive and up to two additional team members at its headquarters or a designated Desi District business without charging a training fee.

This means that while the training itself is provided at no cost, the franchisee must budget for all associated travel and living expenses for themselves and their team. These costs can vary significantly depending on the training location, duration, and the number of team members attending.

Prospective franchisees should consider these expenses when evaluating the overall investment required to start a Desi District franchise. It is advisable to inquire about the typical duration and location of the training to estimate these costs accurately. Understanding these financial responsibilities upfront is crucial for effective financial planning and ensuring a smooth launch of the franchise.
