What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Desi District will provide on-site support for up to two weeks in connection with the opening of a new franchisee's business. This support is part of Desi District's pre-opening obligations.

In addition to on-site support, Desi District offers several other forms of assistance to franchisees before they open their business. This includes reviewing potential locations, providing standard building plans and décor specifications, offering suggested staffing levels and hiring guidelines, giving access to the Brand Standards Manual, conducting an initial training program, reviewing the franchisee's business plan, and advising on the market introduction plan.

After the Desi District business opens, franchisees can request advice via telephone or electronic communication for improving their business and resolving operational problems. However, if in-person support is requested and provided, Desi District may charge a fee of $600 per day, plus any out-of-pocket expenses like travel, lodging, and meals for their employees.
