What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, any notice required under the franchise agreement must be in writing to be considered effective. If the franchisee is sending a notice, it should be addressed to the address listed on the Summary Page of the agreement. If Desi District Franchise Group is sending a notice, it should be addressed to 13389 Marmolada Drive, Frisco, TX 75035. Either party can change their notice address by providing written notice of the new address.

For a notice to be effective, it must be received (or first rejected) and delivered through one of the following methods: personal delivery, registered or certified U.S. mail with return receipt requested, or overnight courier. This ensures there is proof of delivery and receipt of important communications.

However, there are exceptions where Desi District Franchise Group can use electronic mail or other electronic communication. These exceptions include amending the Manual, giving binding notice of changes to System Standards, and delivering notices of default. This allows Desi District Franchise Group to communicate certain types of information more quickly and efficiently.
