- 2. Form of Agreement. For Store #1, Franchisee and Desi District Franchise Group have executed the Franchise Agreement simultaneously with this MUDA. For each additional Desi District franchise, Franchisee shall execute Desi District Franchise Group's then-current standard form of franchise agreement no later than three business days after Franchisee leases or acquires a location. This MUDA does not give Franchisee the right to construct, open, or operate a Desi District business, and Franchisee acknowledges that Franchisee may construct, open, and operate each Desi District business only pursuant to a separate franchise agreement executed pursuant to this MUDA for each such Desi District business.

According to the 2024 Desi District Franchise Disclosure Document, the agreement for the franchise of a Desi District business is called the "Franchise Agreement".
For the first store, the franchisee and Desi District execute the Franchise Agreement simultaneously with the Multi-Unit Development Agreement (MUDA). For any additional Desi District franchises, the franchisee must execute Desi District's current standard Franchise Agreement form no later than three business days after leasing or acquiring a location.
It is important to note that the MUDA does not grant the franchisee the right to open or operate a Desi District business. The franchisee can only proceed with construction, opening, and operation of each Desi District business after a separate Franchise Agreement is executed for each location, pursuant to the MUDA.
