What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, as part of the pre-opening obligations, Desi District will provide on-site support for a limited time. Specifically, a representative will be available to provide on-site support for up to two weeks in connection with the franchisee's business opening.
This on-site support is designed to assist the new franchisee during the critical initial phase of launching their Desi District location. This support can be invaluable in ensuring a smooth opening and helping to establish operational efficiency from the outset. It is important to note that this is a defined period, and any additional support beyond the initial two weeks may incur additional costs.
After the initial two-week period, Desi District may provide further advice via telephone or electronic communication for improving and developing the business and resolving operating problems. However, if in-person support is requested and provided, Desi District may charge a fee of $600 per day, plus any out-of-pocket expenses such as travel, lodging, and meals for their employees providing the on-site support.
