What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Desi District Franchise Group has the authority to determine the location of post-opening training programs for the Principal Executive and other employees. These training programs can be in any format. If the training location requires travel, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, living, and other related expenses for the participating personnel. Desi District may also charge a reasonable fee for any training programs.

This means that as a Desi District franchisee, you must ensure that you and your staff attend any required post-opening training programs at locations determined by Desi District Franchise Group. You will need to budget for potential training fees and all associated travel and accommodation costs. This could impact your operational budget, especially if the training location is far from your franchise location.

Franchisees should inquire about the typical frequency, duration, and locations of post-opening training to better estimate these potential costs. Understanding the content and format of these programs will also help in assessing their value and relevance to your business operations. It is also important to clarify whether these training programs are mandatory or optional, as this will affect your compliance requirements and associated expenses.
