Is the initial franchise fee for a Desi District Eatery & Market refundable?

According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee is not refundable. For a single unit, the initial franchise fee is $30,000 for the Eatery only model and $40,000 for the Eatery & Market model. This fee must be paid when signing the franchise agreement.

For franchisees pursuing a multi-unit development agreement, the initial franchise fee is reduced to $22,500 for the Eatery only model and $30,000 for each additional franchise after the first franchise for the Eatery & Market model. These fees are also non-refundable and are due upon signing the Multi-Unit Development Agreement (MUDA).
