What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must submit its proposed location to Desi District Franchise Group for acceptance, along with all related information that Desi District may request. This is to occur if the location and territory are not already stated on the Summary Page.
This means that before a Desi District franchisee can finalize a location for their business, they need to get it approved by the franchisor. The franchisee is responsible for finding a potential location within the Development Area outlined in the Summary Page. The franchisor has the right to ask for any information they deem necessary to evaluate the proposed location.
If Desi District does not provide written acceptance of the proposed location within 30 days, the location is considered rejected. If the location is accepted, Desi District will issue a Location Acceptance Letter, which will state the location and territory. This process ensures that all locations meet the brand's standards and have the potential to succeed.
