What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Desi District Franchise Group has the option to manage social media accounts for the entire franchise system. While they are not obligated to do so, they may choose to operate all social media accounts on behalf of the Desi District system, or they may allow individual franchisees to manage their own accounts. Franchisees must adhere to any System Standards and social media policies that Desi District Franchise Group establishes.
This means that as a Desi District franchisee, you might not have full control over your social media presence. Desi District Franchise Group could manage the accounts for the entire system, ensuring brand consistency across all locations. Alternatively, you might be allowed to manage your own account, but you would need to follow the franchisor's guidelines and obtain approval for your content.
This policy ensures that all marketing and advertising efforts align with the brand's overall strategy and standards. It also allows Desi District to maintain a consistent brand image and message across all social media platforms. Franchisees should be aware of these requirements and be prepared to work within the established guidelines for social media marketing.
