What is Desi District Franchise Group licensing to the franchisee in the agreement?

According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Desi District Franchise Group licenses the Marks and the System to the franchisee for the franchisee to develop and operate a Desi District business, under the terms and conditions of the Franchise Agreement. The Desi District system involves methods, procedures, and standards for operating a fast-casual eatery serving Indian fusion food, and may include an optional accompanied grocery market.

The Desi District system also includes plans, specifications, equipment, signage, and trade dress for Desi District businesses. It incorporates particular products and services, training programs, business knowledge, marketing plans and concepts, and other mandatory or optional elements determined by Desi District Franchise Group.

Furthermore, Desi District Franchise Group grants the franchisee the right to operate a Desi District business solely at the specified location for the entire term of the agreement. Desi District also licenses customer data back to the franchisee without charge, but solely for use in connection with the business during the term of the Franchise Agreement.
