What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Desi District Franchise Group does not charge a fee for its standard pre-opening training program. This training is made available to the Principal Executive and up to two additional team members. The training takes place at Desi District Franchise Group's headquarters or at a Desi District business designated by them. However, franchisees are responsible for covering their own expenses related to travel, lodging, meals, and other out-of-pocket costs associated with attending the training.
While Desi District covers the cost of the training program itself, the franchisee needs to budget for the logistical expenses of sending themselves and their team to the training location. These costs can vary significantly depending on the distance to the training site, the duration of the training, and the personal spending habits of the individuals attending. It is important to factor in these additional expenses when evaluating the overall cost of starting a Desi District franchise.
Desi District also reserves the right to change the length and content of the initial training program based on the experience and skill level of the individuals attending. This flexibility allows Desi District to tailor the training to the specific needs of each franchisee and their team, potentially optimizing the learning experience. However, it also introduces some uncertainty, as the exact duration and content of the training may not be known in advance.
