What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Desi District Franchise Group may require the Principal Executive and/or other employees to complete post-opening training programs. These programs can be in any format and location determined by Desi District. Desi District may charge a reasonable fee for these training programs.

If the training program requires travel for the Principal Executive or any other employee, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, living, and other related expenses. This means that in addition to the training fee itself, a Desi District franchisee must also budget for potential travel and accommodation costs for themselves and their employees if they are required to attend a training program at a distant location.

In addition to the above, if a Desi District franchisee sends an employee to Desi District's training program after opening, Desi District may charge its then-current training fee. As of the date of the Franchise Agreement, this fee is $350 per day. This fee is separate from the 'reasonable fee' mentioned for the post-opening training programs that Desi District may require.
