What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Desi District has the right to inspect the premises of the business during normal business hours, and the franchisee is required to cooperate with the inspectors. These inspections are designed to ensure that franchisees are adhering to the brand's standards and maintaining quality control.
The inspection may include several components, such as observing operations to ensure that the day-to-day activities align with the brand's standards, conducting a physical inventory to verify stock levels and proper management of goods, and evaluating the physical conditions of the premises to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance meet the franchisor's expectations.
Additionally, the inspection might involve monitoring sales activity to assess performance and compliance with sales practices, speaking with employees and customers to gather feedback and assess service quality, and even removing samples of products, supplies, and materials for further evaluation.
