What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the training location for franchisees is either in Frisco, TX, or at the franchisee's location. The training program includes both classroom and on-the-job training.
The initial training program covers various subjects critical to the operation of a Desi District franchise. These subjects include getting started with Desi District culture, history, and basic setup, operations basics, pricing, front of house operations, back of house operations, FAQs, client satisfaction, opening the location, closing the location, deep clean and maintenance, equipment maintenance, weekly duties, other procedure reviews/miscellaneous, and onboarding graduation.
For each subject, the training program specifies the hours of classroom training and on-the-job training. For example, front of house operations includes 12 hours of classroom training and 12 hours of on-the-job training. The flexibility of having training at either Frisco, TX, or the franchisee's location provides convenience. Franchisees must complete training to Desi District's satisfaction at least four weeks before opening their business and may be required to pass a test to evaluate their understanding of the training content.
