How does Desi District communicate changes to Input requirements or vendor status to franchisees?

- 8.1 Generally. Franchisee shall acquire all Inputs required by Desi District Franchise Group from time to time in accordance with System Standards. Desi District Franchise Group may require Franchisee to purchase or lease any Inputs from Desi District Franchise Group, Desi District Franchise Group's designee, Required Vendors, Approved Vendors, and/or under Desi District Franchise Group's specifications. Desi District Franchise Group may change any such requirement or change the status of any vendor. To make such requirement or change effective, Desi District Franchise Group shall issue the appropriate System Standards.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Desi District Franchise Group may amend the Manual, give binding notice of changes to System Standards, and deliver notices of default by electronic mail or other electronic communication.
"System Standards" means, as of any given time, the then-current mandatory procedures, requirements, and/or standards of the System as determined by Desi District Franchise Group, which may include without limitation, any procedures, requirements and/or standards for appearance, business metrics, cleanliness, customer service, design (such as construction, decoration, layout, furniture, fixtures and signs), equipment, inventory, marketing and public relations, operating days, operating hours, presentation of Marks, product and service offerings, quality of products and services(including any guaranty and warranty programs), reporting, safety, technology (such as computers, computer peripheral equipment, smartphones, point-of-sale systems, back-office systems, information management systems, security systems, video monitors, other software, backup and archiving systems, communications systems (including email, audio, and video systems), payment acceptance systems, and internet access, as well as upgrades, supplements, and modifications thereto), uniforms, and vehicles.

According to Desi District's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, changes to input requirements or vendor status are communicated through System Standards. Desi District has the authority to change input requirements or vendor status. To make these changes effective, Desi District will issue the appropriate System Standards.

This allows Desi District flexibility in managing the brand standards and operational requirements across all franchise locations, and ensures franchisees are kept up to date.
