What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dermani Medspa's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dermani Medspa may require franchisees to participate in joint advertising campaigns if other Dermani Medspa locations are within the same directory's distribution area. In such cases, the franchisee may be required to participate in joint, collective, or market-wide advertising, marketing, or promotional campaigns or programs as part of their local marketing efforts. Franchisees would also be responsible for paying their share of the costs associated with these joint campaigns.
This requirement ensures that Dermani Medspa maintains a consistent brand image and marketing strategy across its locations, especially in areas where multiple franchises operate in close proximity. By participating in these joint campaigns, franchisees can benefit from the collective marketing efforts and potentially reach a wider audience than they might through individual local marketing initiatives.
However, all advertising and marketing materials must comply with Dermani Medspa's standards, and franchisees must obtain approval for all materials before use. This provision allows Dermani Medspa to maintain control over the brand's messaging and ensure that all marketing efforts align with the company's overall strategy. Prospective franchisees should be aware of this requirement and factor in the potential costs of participating in joint advertising campaigns when evaluating the franchise opportunity.
