What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dermani Medspa's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee or their Operating Principal has the sole responsibility for all employment decisions related to their Franchised Business. This includes all aspects of employment such as hiring, firing, compensation, benefits, work hours, work rules, record-keeping, supervision, and discipline of employees. This responsibility remains with the franchisee, regardless of any suggestions, advice, guidelines, programs, or training that Dermani Medspa may offer.

This means that while Dermani Medspa may provide guidance or training materials related to employment practices, the franchisee is ultimately the one who makes all personnel decisions. This protects Dermani Medspa from potential liability related to employment matters at the franchised location. The franchisee must also ensure that all employment-related decisions comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

The FDD emphasizes that all personnel decisions must be made independently by the franchisee, without any influence or advice from Dermani Medspa. Furthermore, all personnel decisions and actions will not be considered a decision or action of Dermani Medspa. The franchisee is also responsible for ensuring that their employees maintain good customer relations, provide competent service, and meet any minimum standards established by Dermani Medspa in its manuals. This ensures that the franchisee is in control of their staff and responsible for their actions, while also adhering to Dermani Medspa's standards for customer service and quality of work.
