What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dermani Medspa's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees and their personnel are responsible for all expenses incurred while attending any training provided by the company. This includes salaries, benefits, travel, lodging, meals, and other related expenses. This means that if you or your employees are required to attend training sessions, you will need to budget for these costs in addition to the franchise fees and other operating expenses.
Dermani Medspa also reserves the right to charge franchisees for training additional personnel, supplemental or additional training programs, and retraining persons who are repeating the course or replacing someone who did not pass. Furthermore, franchisees are responsible for covering Dermani Medspa's out-of-pocket expenses associated with providing additional training, including travel, meals, and payroll expenses for their representatives.
This allocation of training expenses is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as it ensures that the franchisor can focus on providing the training itself without having to manage the logistical and financial burden of travel and lodging for numerous franchisees and their staff. Prospective Dermani Medspa franchisees should carefully consider these potential training-related costs when evaluating the overall investment required to start and operate a franchise.
