What This Means (2025 FDD)
The 2025 Dermani Medspa Franchise Disclosure Document states that franchisees are not permitted to promote their Medspa in any manner on any websites or social media pages without Dermani Medspa's prior written consent. While this policy explicitly addresses online promotion, the FDD does not specifically mention press releases.
Given the absence of a direct reference to press releases, it remains unclear whether Dermani Medspa requires prior written approval for such materials. However, the broad restriction on promoting the Medspa without written consent could be interpreted to include press releases, as they are a form of promotion.
A prospective Dermani Medspa franchisee should seek clarification from the franchisor regarding the specific requirements for press releases to ensure compliance with Dermani Medspa's marketing and advertising policies. Understanding the scope of required approvals is crucial for franchisees to effectively manage their local marketing efforts while adhering to the franchisor's guidelines.
