What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dermani Medspa Franchise Disclosure Document, Dermani Medspa will provide franchisees with mandatory and/or suggested specifications and layouts for their premises. These specifications may include color schemes, specific furniture, medical equipment, a planogram for a typical Medspa layout, recommended office size and design, and required or recommended operating assets. Dermani Medspa also reserves the right to provide guidance to assist franchisees in working with designated contractors and suppliers to complete the development and build-out of their Medspa.
However, franchisees are ultimately responsible for developing their franchised business and must engage the services of a designer or architect to develop plans specific to their premises. Franchisees are also required to obtain a site plan and any modifications to Dermani Medspa's basic architectural plans and/or specifications for the Medspa, ensuring they comply with applicable ordinances, building codes, and permit requirements. All construction plans or final floor plans must be submitted to Dermani Medspa for approval before construction can begin.
In addition to the initial build-out, franchisees must maintain the condition and appearance of the Franchised Business, its Operating Assets, and the Premises in accordance with System Standards. This includes repainting, repairing, and refurbishing the Premises at intervals prescribed by Dermani Medspa, as well as repairing or replacing damaged, worn-out, or obsolete Operating Assets. Franchisees may only place or display approved signs, photographs, artwork, logos, and display and advertising materials at the Premises.
