Can Dermani Medspa modify System Standards?

According to Dermani Medspa's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Dermani Medspa retains the right to periodically modify System Standards. These modifications may require franchisees to make additional capital investments in their Franchised Business and/or incur higher operating costs.

The franchisee is obligated to implement any changes in System Standards within the timeframe requested by Dermani Medspa. These changes can include refurbishing or remodeling the Premises, buying new Operating Assets, adding new services, or otherwise modifying the nature of operations. The franchisee must implement these changes as if they were part of the original agreement.

This clause gives Dermani Medspa considerable latitude to evolve its brand standards, service offerings, and operational requirements. While this allows Dermani Medspa to maintain consistency and adapt to market changes across all locations, it also places a financial risk on the franchisee, who must be prepared to invest further capital to comply with these changes. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider their financial capacity to handle such unforeseen expenses and factor this into their business planning.
