“Initial Term” ten (10) years from the Effective Date of this Agreement.
4.2. No Renewal. Upon expiration of this Agreement, there is no renewal or subsequent term, and you will not have any rights to a renewal, successor, or extended term. This Agreement may not be renewed or extended except by mutual written agreement of the parties.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dermani Medspa FDD, the franchise agreement does not offer a renewal term. The initial term of the Franchise Agreement is ten years from the effective date.
Upon expiration of the initial agreement, a franchisee will not have any rights to renew the agreement for a subsequent term unless both parties agree to renew in writing. This means that a Dermani Medspa franchisee's business operation is only guaranteed for the initial ten-year term, creating uncertainty about the long-term viability of their business under the Dermani Medspa brand if a renewal agreement cannot be reached.
While Dermani Medspa can refuse to execute a Successor Franchise Agreement if the franchisee's lease isn't extended to cover the successor term, there may be instances where a successor term is legally required. In such cases, the successor term would be subject to the conditions of the then-current franchise agreement for new franchisees or, if unavailable, the terms indicated by Dermani Medspa. If neither of those options are allowed, the successor term will be governed by the terms of the original agreement.
