What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dermani Medspa's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all products, services, equipment, fixtures, furniture, signs, uniforms, forms, cleaning, sanitation materials, and other supplies used in the operation of the franchised business must be approved and conform to the specifications and quality standards established by Dermani Medspa.
The FDD states that Dermani Medspa may establish preferred vendor programs with nationally or regionally known suppliers. In such cases, Dermani Medspa may limit the number of approved suppliers, designate mandatory sources for certain products or services, and/or refuse franchisee requests if they believe it is in the best interest of the Dermani Medspa system. Dermani Medspa retains unlimited rights to approve or disapprove suppliers and may revoke previous approvals at their sole discretion.
While the FDD excerpt specifies that Dermani Medspa has the right to approve or disapprove suppliers, it does not explicitly detail the process a franchisee must undertake to request approval for an unapproved supplier. It is important to note that franchisees should communicate with Dermani Medspa to understand the specific steps and requirements for seeking approval of an unapproved supplier. This may involve submitting a formal request with detailed information about the supplier and the products or services they offer, allowing Dermani Medspa to assess whether the supplier meets their standards and specifications.
