Dermani_Medspa Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You acknowledge and agree that our approval of a location for a dermani MEDSPA® is not a warranty or guaranty, express or implied, that you will achieve any particular level of success at the location or that your Franchised Business or the dermani MEDSPA® will be profitable. Our acceptance of a location for the dermani MEDSPA® only signifies that the location meets our then-current minimum criteria for a dermani MEDSPA®. You further acknowledge and agree that your acceptance of a franchise for the management of a dermani MEDSPA® at a site is based on your own independent investigation of the suitability of the site.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Dermani Medspa FDD, Dermani Medspa does not provide any guarantees or warranties, either express or implied, regarding the potential success or profitability of a franchise location, even after they have approved it. The FDD clarifies that Dermani Medspa's approval of a site merely indicates that the location meets the company's minimum standards at that time.

This means that while Dermani Medspa assesses potential locations based on its criteria, franchisees should not interpret this approval as a promise of financial success. The ultimate responsibility for evaluating the suitability of a location rests with the franchisee, who must conduct their own independent investigation. This includes analyzing market conditions, local competition, and other factors that could affect the Dermani Medspa's performance.

Prospective Dermani Medspa franchisees should carefully consider this disclaimer and perform thorough due diligence before committing to a specific location. Relying solely on Dermani Medspa's approval without conducting independent research could lead to choosing an unsuitable location and experiencing financial losses. It is common practice in the franchise industry for franchisors to offer site selection assistance but not guarantee profitability, as local market conditions and the franchisee's management skills also play significant roles in the success of the business.
