What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Dermani Medspa's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for ensuring that all management and other personnel working at the Franchised Business satisfactorily complete all state and local government-required training. They must also meet all required licensing and certification requirements. This obligation is part of the franchisee's broader responsibility to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

This requirement means that a Dermani Medspa franchisee must be proactive in identifying the specific training, licensing, and certification requirements applicable in their state and local jurisdiction. They need to establish systems to verify that all employees meet these requirements before they begin working at the medspa. This may involve tracking employee credentials, scheduling training sessions, and maintaining records of compliance.

The franchisee's failure to ensure compliance with these state and local requirements could result in legal penalties, fines, or other enforcement actions. It could also negatively impact the reputation of the Dermani Medspa brand. Therefore, it is crucial for franchisees to prioritize compliance and maintain accurate records to demonstrate their adherence to all applicable regulations. Additionally, the franchisee must notify Dermani Medspa in writing within five calendar days of receipt of notice of any health or safety violation.
