You must engage the services of a designer or architect to develop plans for the build-out of your dermani MEDSPA® that are specific to the Premises.
You and your architect must make sure that the blueprints comply with all applicable laws, ordinances and building codes.
You must submit all construction plans or final floor plan to us for our approval before you may begin the construction process. (Franchise Agreement, Section 2.2)

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Dermani Medspa FDD, franchisees are required to engage the services of a designer or architect to develop build-out plans specific to their location. These plans must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and building codes.
The franchisee is responsible for ensuring that the blueprints meet all legal requirements. Before construction can begin, the franchisee must submit all construction plans or the final floor plan to Dermani Medspa for approval.
Dermani Medspa may provide mandatory and suggested specifications and layouts for the premises, including color schemes, furniture, medical equipment, and a planogram for a typical medspa layout. Dermani Medspa may also provide guidance to assist franchisees in working with designated contractors and suppliers, and may even require the franchisee to use a contractor that Dermani Medspa designates or approves.
