We reserve the right to charge you for substitute personnel that attend the next training program.
If we determine that you, your Operating Principal or your manager cannot complete initial training to our satisfaction, we may terminate this Agreement.
Among the current criteria for satisfactory completion of training are attendance at all training classes, passing all interim and final tests and exams, and demonstrating a capability and willingness to comply with System Standards.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
The 2025 Dermani Medspa FDD addresses training for owners, operating principals, and managers, but it does not specifically state who is responsible for covering the expenses associated with a manager's training program in the event of the death or disability of a franchisee or operating principal. However, the FDD does state that the franchisee is generally responsible for ensuring their managers complete the required training programs.
While the FDD does not explicitly assign responsibility for training expenses in the event of death or disability, it does state that Dermani Medspa reserves the right to charge for substitute personnel attending the next training program. It also states that Dermani Medspa can require a person to satisfactorily complete training or re-training program if they are no longer complying with their standards and procedures, and they reserve the right to charge for re-training personnel.
A prospective Dermani Medspa franchisee should seek clarification from the franchisor regarding the specific financial responsibilities related to manager training in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as the death or disability of the franchisee or operating principal. Understanding these potential costs is crucial for financial planning and risk assessment.
