- 2.4.6. Prior to opening the Medspa, you shall pay us an one-time software licensing fee associated with computer software that we may require for use in your Medspa and/or are developing, utilizing, or enhancing for use in Medspas as we deem necessary in our sole discretion (the "Initial Licensing Fee"). What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Dermani Medspa's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, prior to opening their medspa, franchisees must pay a one-time software licensing fee for computer software that Dermani Medspa requires for use in the medspa, is developing, utilizing, or enhancing for use in medspas, as deemed necessary by Dermani Medspa. This fee is referred to as the Initial Licensing Fee.
The Initial Licensing Fee will not exceed $2,500. This fee is associated with the computer software that Dermani Medspa may require for use in the franchisee's medspa and/or are developing, utilizing, or enhancing for use in Medspas as they deem necessary in their sole discretion.
Additionally, franchisees must purchase at least one email address from Dermani Medspa's designated and approved vendor for use in connection with their franchised business. Additional email addresses can be purchased for an additional fee. Franchisees are prohibited from installing any unauthorized software or making hardware modifications to the computer system that could interfere with its operation.
