What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Delta Hotels By Marriott Franchise Disclosure Document, Delta Hotels By Marriott's representatives have the right to visit the job site at any time during construction to observe the work. The franchisee, their contractors, and subcontractors are required to fully cooperate with these site visits.
Delta Hotels By Marriott may also request that the franchisee submit photos showing the progress of the construction. If Delta Hotels By Marriott identifies any deficiencies or discrepancies, they can submit these to the franchisee, who is then obligated to promptly correct them.
These site visit rights and requirements for cooperation extend to both new construction and conversion renovations. This allows Delta Hotels By Marriott to maintain quality control and ensure that the hotel is being built or renovated according to their standards and specifications. This is a fairly standard practice in the franchise industry, as franchisors need to protect their brand and ensure consistency across all locations.
