What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Delta Hotels By Marriott Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for managing the Franchisee-Managed Network (FMN). Delta Hotels By Marriott states that Marriott will not access, control, or manage the FMN.
The FMN is a network for hotel devices that the franchisee must install and maintain. The cost to implement this network ranges from approximately $25,000 to $30,000. The ongoing costs are variable, depending on the vendor the franchisee selects and the services rendered.
Delta Hotels By Marriott also requires an on-property Wi-Fi network for the benefit of the hotel and its guests. The estimated cost to implement a Wi-Fi network meeting their Global Property Network Standards (GPNS) ranges from approximately $650 to $1,000 per guestroom. The ongoing cost of the Wi-Fi network is estimated to be approximately $2.50 to $8.50 per month per guestroom, payable directly to approved third-party vendors.
