What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Delta Hotels By Marriott's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee-managed network (FMN) for hotel devices is required. The FMN must be installed and maintained by the franchisee. Delta Hotels By Marriott specifies that they will not access, control, or manage the FMN.
The estimated cost to implement the FMN ranges from $25,000 to $30,000. The ongoing costs are not specified in the FDD because they will vary depending on the vendor selected by the franchisee and the services rendered.
In addition to the FMN, Delta Hotels By Marriott also requires an on-property Wi-Fi network for the benefit of the hotel and its guests. The cost to implement a Wi-Fi network that meets Delta Hotels By Marriott's Global Property Network Standards (GPNS) ranges from approximately $650 to $1,000 per guestroom. The ongoing cost of the Wi-Fi network is estimated to be approximately $2.50 to $8.50 per month per guestroom, payable directly to approved third-party vendors.
