What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Del Taco's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Del Taco has the right to revise its Standard Operating Procedures Manual and other manuals from time to time. Franchisees are required to conduct their business in accordance with these manuals to maintain the brand's reputation and operational standards. Franchisees receive an electronic copy of the manuals for the term of the agreement, which may include electronic files, videos, and bulletins. Del Taco may provide updates and amendments electronically, including through the Internet.

Franchisees must treat the manuals and the information within them as confidential, protecting them from unauthorized access and refraining from copying or reproducing them. The manuals remain the sole property of Del Taco and must be kept secure and up-to-date on the Restaurant premises. In case of any dispute regarding the contents of the manuals, the master copy maintained by Del Taco at its home office will be controlling.

Del Taco may revise the contents of the manuals periodically, and franchisees must make corresponding revisions to their copies and comply with the new standards immediately upon receipt. This ensures that all Del Taco locations operate under the most current guidelines and standards set by the franchisor. Franchisees are responsible for implementing changes to the Technology System and Required Software as Del Taco requests in writing, complying with Del Taco's specifications, and providing Del Taco with access to their Technology System.
