What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Del Taco's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after the first follow-up inspection, the franchisee is responsible for reimbursing Del Taco for all costs and expenses associated with subsequent follow-up inspections, including labor and travel. In addition to covering these costs, Del Taco may also charge a reinspection fee.

Specifically, Del Taco has the right to assess a reinspection fee of $500 per visit. This fee is in addition to the reimbursement of all costs and expenses incurred by Del Taco for conducting the follow-up inspections.

The franchisee is required to make these payments within fifteen days of receiving an invoice from Del Taco. Alternatively, Del Taco may choose to collect the payment through electronic funds transfer (EFT), as detailed in Section 3.5 of the franchise agreement.
