What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Degree Wellness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must ensure that all advertising is completely factual, in good taste, and conforms to the highest standards of ethical advertising and all legal requirements. This means that franchisees cannot make misleading claims or engage in deceptive advertising practices. Degree Wellness retains the right to judge whether advertising is in "good taste."

In addition to these standards, Degree Wellness franchisees must also avoid any business or advertising practice that may be harmful to the business of Degree Wellness, the franchise, and/or the goodwill associated with the Degree Wellness marks and other Degree Wellness franchises. This provision protects the brand's reputation and ensures that franchisees do not engage in activities that could damage the overall business.

These requirements are typical in franchising, as franchisors need to maintain brand consistency and protect their trademarks. Franchisees should carefully review all advertising materials with Degree Wellness to ensure compliance and avoid potential penalties or legal issues. Failing to adhere to these standards could result in a breach of the franchise agreement.
