Notwithstanding the forgoing, you shall be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Franchised Business. While the Operations Manual sets forth our standards for the Franchise, the procedures utilized to implement those standards rest with the Franchisee.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Degree Wellness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the franchised business. While Degree Wellness establishes the standards for the franchise through its Operations Manual, the franchisee is responsible for implementing those standards. This means the franchisee has control over the specific procedures used to meet Degree Wellness's requirements.
This arrangement gives the franchisee a degree of autonomy in running the business. However, Degree Wellness retains the right to modify the system, potentially requiring the franchisee to adapt their operations. The franchisee is solely responsible for all costs associated with these modifications.
Furthermore, the franchisee acknowledges that they are the sole and independent owner of their franchised business and are in full control, subject to the provisions outlined in the Franchise Agreement. The franchisee is also responsible for their actions and omissions, as well as those of their employees, representatives, and agents, in connection with the operation of the Degree Wellness franchise.
