Degree_Wellness Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

  1. Training Program Expenses. These are the costs that we estimate for you and up to one (1) additional person to attend the portion of our Initial Training Program that takes place at a corporate training location (currently Michigan).

In addition to the Initial Training Fee, you are responsible for the costs associated with attending training.

These costs include transportation, meals, and lodging.

Your total cost will vary based on who you choose to attend, how far they have to travel, and the type of accommodations you choose.

These costs are typically non-refundable, but you should ask about refund policies before you patronize any vendor.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Degree Wellness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for covering the expenses associated with attending the initial training program. In addition to the initial training fee, the franchisee must pay for costs like transportation, meals, and lodging for themselves and up to one additional person attending the training. The FDD indicates that the training takes place at a corporate training location, which is currently in Michigan. These costs are separate from the initial training fee, which ranges from $8,000, and are paid to third-party providers.

The estimated cost for these training program expenses ranges from $1,500 to $5,000. This range can fluctuate based on factors such as the distance traveled, the type of accommodations chosen, and the number of attendees. Degree Wellness notes that these costs are typically non-refundable, so it is advisable to inquire about refund policies with the vendors before making any bookings.

Prospective Degree Wellness franchisees should factor these training-related costs into their initial investment calculations. Understanding that these expenses are their responsibility allows franchisees to budget accordingly and avoid unexpected financial strain during the initial setup phase. It is also important to confirm the location of the training and research travel and accommodation options to get a more accurate estimate of these expenses.
